Women’s Singles Ladder
The ACTA will be offering a summer women’s singles ladder to be played June – August. Players will schedule their own singles matches. If you are interested in playing please e-mail auburncta@yahoo.com or call the Yarbrough Tennis Center at 334-501-2920 by 12 June, 2009.
Men's Singles Ladder
This summer in place of our ladder there will be a USTA Flex League for singles players from 3.0 to 4.5 and above. This league was very popular with our singles players in the spring and we look for even more to participate in the summer. The times for matches are set by the players and all matches are to be completed by September with a playoff between the top players in each division, and winners and finalists will receive an award. Cost is $25 for all USTA members ($35 for non-members). In 2009 Bill Flick has organized a tennis ladder for Senior Men's doubles and Senior Women's doubles. These ladders will be active from January to May. A doubles team must play at least one match a month to maintain it's ladder status, and all matches will be played on the clay courts. There will be prizes for the top two teams at the end of the ladder season. E-mail Bill at billflick575@hotmail.com if you are interested in playing on these ladders.
