With the current weather remember that clay courts in the area
(Yarbrough Tennis Center, Moore’s Mill, Calhoun Tennis Center, and
the Marriott at Grand National) are greatly impacted by the below
freezing weather so check with the facility if you have clay court
plans as to court availability. The ACTA Web site will update issues
as we become aware of them but it is always best to check with
the specific clay court location you plan to play at during cold periods.

progressing here each week.
Isn’t ACTA a Yarbrough Tennis Center (YTC) Group? No. As we
mentioned last week ACTA is here to support tennis at all levels in the
community and we are supportive of all our facilities in the area.
We want to see growth in tennis at all locations and levels and are
here to support wherever we can. Historically, ACTA was involved in
helping support the development of YTC and we will continue to support and
assist but we are not limited to just YTC in what we do.
As a reminder, ACTA doesn’t charge a membership fee but simply
promotes tennis through events, our web site, and other
advertising and promotional materials. If you play or
support tennis you are a member of ACTA and we need your involvement,
so check out the ACTA web site (http://www.auburncta.com/home/)
and contact a board member if you’d like to get more involved in
playing or promoting tennis in the area.
If you have any feedback please let me know, we sincerely want to
help everyone find their place to plug into tennis in the Auburn community.
